Charles & Colvard COVID-19 Update for Investors
Charles & Colvard is working to communicate with customers, partners and investors, as we continue to navigate the current evolving business and regulatory environment.
Update as of March 30, 2020:
- Due to a mandated stay-at-home order by the state of North Carolina in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and for the health and well-being of our employees, we have suspended our distribution and fulfillment operations from our corporate headquarters through April 28, 2020, and initiated a work from home policy for all other non-essential employees. Here are links to the update for customers on our website and related 8K.
- We will continue processing online orders during this time and will ship as quickly as possible after operations resume.
- We are working with our third party partners regarding alternate distribution options but due to stay-at-home restrictions in NC, 25+ states, many cities and counties across the U.S., there may be limited ability to deploy these contingency plans for shipping during the closure period.
- We are reviewing ways to receive assistance through the recent stimulus bill and reduce variable costs during this period, while still supporting our customers and employees.
