On November 27, 2020, Charles & Colvard, Ltd. (the “Company”) received a letter from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department notifying the Company that the minimum bid price of its common stock was $1.00 per share or greater for at least the last 10 consecutive business days. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with the Nasdaq minimum bid price requirement and the matter is now closed.
As previously disclosed, on March 24, 2020, the Company received notice from Nasdaq’s Listing Qualifications Department indicating that the Company was not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) because the minimum bid price of its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market had closed below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days. In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), as tolled by SR-NASDAQ-2020-021, the Company had 180 calendar days, or until December 4, 2020, to regain compliance with the minimum $1.00 bid price per share requirement.

Charles & Colvard, Ltd. Stock Trading at or Above $1.00 for Ten Consecutive Business Days

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – December 1, 2020 – Charles & Colvard, Ltd. (Nasdaq: CTHR) (the “Company”), a globally recognized lab created gemstone company specializing in fine jewelry, announced today that it has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price continued listing requirement. A letter from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Department noted that as of November 27, 2020, the minimum bid price of the Company’s common stock was $1.00 per share or greater for the last 10 consecutive business days. Therefore, the Company has regained compliance with Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) and the matter is now closed.
